Fleur-De-Lis Iron Hook Workshop 10-12:30 Jan. 21 Saturday

The Fleur-De-Lis Iron Hook workshop will feature a fleur-de-lis iron hook with a two color application and wash technique. We will cover waxing basics and use of gilding wax. The chosen colors for the hook are Provence, Old White and Chateau Grey. An extra technique will be demonstrated during this workshop as well. This is a fun project to give or to keep. Participants will receive a special coupon for ASCP products after the class to purchase at The Back Porch Mercantile located inside Ironic in Bearden. All workshops are held at Consign to Design in Knoxville. Please call Ironic at 865.588.3131 to register . The class fee of $75.00 is required at registration to hold your place and includes all materials and instruction. If you would like to make an extra hook in class, it is an additional $25.00 dollars. Cancellations are non-refundable. Class participants are limited to 8.

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Beginner Techniques Workshop

Want to breathe new life into old, worn out furniture? Come learn how to turn your trash to treasure in this fun hands on introduction to Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. This workshop will teach you the basic techniques of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. We will cover aging and distressing for the classic shabby chic look, two color blend application, crackle for character and the use of clear and dark wax. Gilding wax will be covered.
