Come Paint with Annie!

Have you been thinking about taking a Annie Sloan Chalk Paint workshop? Now is the time to do it! Come join Annie on her North American tour and learn from Annie herself. Spend the day painting, creating and making memories at one the great events across the country. Each event will be formatted in the same way and will include 2-hour demonstration and history given by Annie Sloan, 4-hour hands on workshop covering Annie's range of techniques, and a book signing/ social hour to conclude the day. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet Annie Sloan, your local Stockist, and others passionate about the range, versatility, and ease of use of this incredible Chalk Paint and Soft Wax. The Annie Sloan products have certainly changed the way Americans and Canadians think of painting furniture since its introduction in the States mid-2010.

So what are you waiting for? Grab your mom, your sister and your friend for a day of memories and creativity.

And if you are a Tennessee painter, you are in luck. Annie will be in Nashville, TN!

Little Green Side Table

{One of a Kind Original from Layla Grace.}

I love color. I love this deep blue green color! My original inspiration came from a Layla Grace one of a kind original that had original paint and had not been refinished. I am glad I pinned it to Pinterest because now the original is sold! I created a very similar color by combining Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Aubusson Blue and Antibes Green in the ratio of 3:1. I followed up with clear wax and dark wax in areas with a touch of gilding wax on the front decorative molding.

{Close up of Gilding Wax. The color is not as accurate here.}

{Finished side table. A very close match to the Layla Grace color.}
